ABOUT NICOLAS RONDET

Nicolas Rondet has been a professional race car driver for nearly 20 years. His professional racing career has taken him from Go-Karts in Brasil to both Touring Car and Open-Wheel racing in France and England. The mid-1990's had him competing in the Barber Dodge Pro Series (Open-Wheel development series for former CART). Rondet won every stage of the development ladder: the Dodge 2.0 liter Championship in 1996, Rookie of the Year in 1997 and the Series Championship in 2001. His efforts led him to a partial year at the Toyota Atlantics Series in 2002.

When off the race track, Nicolas travels around the country with a group of professionals putting on performance shows, driving dynamics clinics and other motor racing related events. Nicolas is currently the Chief Instructor at the Jim Russell Racing Drivers School at the Infineon Raceway in Sonoma, California.

For Nicolas, it is all about SPEED. Technology, skill and performance are his main allies.   LEARN MORE

Rondet trains and races in IRONMAN in Support of The Challenged Athletes Foundation...

Staying in top shape is Nicolas' number one priority outside of driving, and for that, he has made triathlon (swimming, cycling and running) a regular part of his training regimen. Nicolas does most of his training with a group of athletes that trains and raises funds for charities with the goal of racing at Ironman events.

Rondet trains and races in Ironman-distance triathlons in support of the Challenged Athletes Foundation (CAF). Nicolas heads into the water for the 2.4 mile swim, puts on his road handling skills & aerodynamic prowess on the 112 mile bike ride, and brings it to the finish line with a 26.2 mile run. The CAF raises money to help people with physical disabilities pursue an active lifestyle through physical fitness and competitive athletics.
