The "ideal" race car: One that is competitive. The speed doesn't matter as much as the competitiveness.

Favorite Race Track-US/Europe/Brazil: Mid-Ohio, Nimes-Ledenon, Interlagos

Racing Heroes: Ayrton Senna, Alex Zanardi, Alain Prost, Gilles Villeneuve, Niki Lauda

Most Memorable Racing Achievements:

Winning the Barber Pro Series Championship in 2001

Road America 1997 - A great comeback, with the "Stealth Car": After losing the whole bodywork, I got back from dead last up to fifth in the Barber Dodge Pro Series, without wind protection, mirrors, etc. Great fun!

Brands Hatch 1992 - Formula First Festival:  A wet finish...coming from last position, and with 10 seconds on the race clock, to finish fourth in the very competitive F-First series in England, in front of the F-Ford festival crowd.

Mid-Ohio 1998 Barber Dodge Pro Series: Another wet race...two spins...and a second place finish at the end...

Advice To Young Drivers:  "Never give up."   "Winning today does not allow you to rest a little before tomorrow."

Best Part of Job: The privilege to have fun with some of the most advanced equipment on earth

Worst Part of Job: The constant fight to make people understand what open-wheel racing is all about, and people not realizing how much work we actually do!

Favorite Outdoor Activity: Snow skiing, triathlon, cycling, mountain biking, tennis

When You're Not Driving You Are: Training for triathlon. I actively fundraise and train to support two great charities: Team in Training and The Challenged Athletes Foundation. We train for Ironman distance triathlon events and help raise funds for these great causes. LEARN MORE

What Would You Be If You Weren't A Driver: I always dreamed of being a driver, and that makes it hard, but either Veterinarian, or mountain guide
